Yesterday was a great day!  I decided to go visit a good friend from my past I haven’t seen for many years. (one of the stories that will be in my book involve her and her family)  Her daughter and I were BFF’s in high school and I made her one of my “adopted” moms.  She had no idea I was coming, I just showed up at her door.  She was so surprised!  It’s amazing how friendships work.  Even though I haven’t seen her for around 15 years she welcomed me with a wonderful hug and we talked like we saw each other last month.  We went to lunch and then to her husbands work to surprise him.  I promise to visit more often than every 15 years 🙂
